The Tier 1 Components Crash Replacement Program is available exclusively to the original purchaser of a Tier 1 Components product. Products must be purchased directly from Tier 1 Components or through an authorized Tier 1 Components retailer.
Every eligible product includes a Warranty & Quality Control (QC) Card. To activate Crash Replacement coverage, the product must be registered with Tier 1 Components within 45 days of delivery. Registration requires emailing our Warranty Department with the completed registration information, proof of purchase, product serial number, and any additional information requested during the registration process.
Failure to register your product within 45 days of delivery will void eligibility for the Crash Replacement Program.
Coverage is valid for two (2) years from the original purchase date and is non-transferable.
If an eligible product is rendered unusable as the direct result of a crash or impact while being used for its intended purpose, Tier 1 Components will offer the following replacement pricing:
Coverage is limited to one (1) approved crash replacement per product, per calendar year, during the two-year coverage period.
Customer is responsible for the replacement product cost, applicable taxes, and any required shipping or handling charges. Tier 1 Components will cover standard shipping costs for the replacement product once the claim has been approved.
To begin a Crash Replacement claim, customers must contact the Tier 1 Components Warranty Department and provide:
Once a claim has been initiated, the damaged product must be shipped to Tier 1 Components within five (5) calendar days.
If the damaged product is not received within ten (10) business days of claim initiation, the claim will be canceled. Failure to return the damaged product within this timeframe will permanently forfeit eligibility for any future Crash Replacement claims on that product.
Once the damaged product has been received, Tier 1 Components will inspect the product within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays).
If the damage meets the requirements of the Crash Replacement Program, the replacement order will be processed and shipped as quickly as possible.
Tier 1 Components reserves the right to deny any claim if inspection determines the damage resulted from misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, improper installation, intentional damage, normal wear, or any condition excluded under this policy.
All products approved under the Crash Replacement Program become the property of Tier 1 Components upon receipt.
Returned products will not be repaired or returned to the customer.
Custom-colored or custom-configured products are covered under the Crash Replacement Program; however, exact custom replacements are not guaranteed.
Approved claims for custom products will generally be replaced with an in-stock Tier 1 Components product of comparable model and specifications.
If a customer elects to receive another custom-built replacement, available options, pricing, and manufacturing lead times will be discussed prior to production.
The Crash Replacement Program does not cover:
The Tier 1 Components Crash Replacement Program is intended to help riders recover from genuine racing accidents—not to replace products that have simply reached the end of their service life.
Tier 1 Components reserves the sole right to determine eligibility for all Crash Replacement claims following inspection of the returned product.
Tier 1 Components also reserves the right to modify or discontinue this program at any time for future purchases without affecting approved claims already in process.
