Tier 1 Components exists because of a standard learned somewhere other than a bike shop. We bring that same standard to every wheel and fork we build.
Tier 1 Components was founded by a Marine Corps veteran who now serves as a full-time firefighter. Years spent meeting a standard where failure was never an option shaped the way this brand thinks about a carbon part: it either holds up under real pressure, or it does not leave the shop.
That mindset became the brand. Not a tagline borrowed from racing culture, but a standard carried over from a different kind of gate.
Every component we release is built to outperform what is already on the gate, not simply to match it. We design first for stiffness, weight, and durability under race load, then for finish. The result is a lineup with its own identity rather than a copy of what every other brand already sells.
We would rather ship fewer products done right than chase a catalog for its own sake. That is why the lineup is small, and why it will stay deliberate as it grows.
Supporting veterans, and the fight against veteran suicide in particular, is part of why this brand exists. It is not a checkout add-on or a seasonal campaign. It is a standing part of our mission, carried the same way regardless of how any single order goes.
We measure every component against the standard we were trained to, not against what the rest of the BMX market considers acceptable.
Our finishes, our weave, and our lineup are designed to look like nothing else at the gate, on purpose.
Our support for veteran causes is a standing commitment to the community we come from, not a promotion tied to a sale.
Take a look at the current lineup, or build a set of rims that's entirely your own.
